My name is Karen Walstra and I am beyond thrilled to be joining Wheatland Crossing School in the fall! I am originally from the Northwest Territories, and I consider myself a small town person. My family and I moved to Standard a few years ago, and we have absolutely fell in love with the area. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Education. My teaching experience spans across Northern Alberta, and I am excited to now grow some roots in the Wheatland area. Social Studies is a passion of mine, and I am looking forward to sharing that passion with my students! Go Coyotes!
