Welcome to Wheatland Crossing and allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Linda Moczulski and I’m pleased to be the Grade 6 teacher here at Wheatland Crossing.  When I was in Grade 2, I decided I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up and I am fortunate enough to be living my dream.

A graduate of University of Lethbridge, I’ve taught Grade 1-12 in my career which began in the Medicine Hat area.  In 1999, I married, relocated, and from 2000-2016, taught Grade 5 and 6 at Hussar School.  In 2016, I moved over to Wheatland Crossing School where I started teaching a single grade for the first time in my career!  I live NE of Hussar on a farm with my husband Russ, our two boys, and an assortment of farm animals.

In our classroom, I believe in working hard, exposing students to new experiences and opportunities, and trying to reach success with every learner.  I’m passionate about teaching and hope that every student gains something positive from the time we spend together. When students enter my classroom, they become “my kids” too and my boys at home joke about my extended large family.  I’ve seen many changes in my years of teaching but appreciate how no two days are ever the same.  It makes each day a new adventure.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and kayaking.  Hopefully that gives you a little glimpse into the teacher behind the desk.
