Joy Stewart

Hello, my name is Mrs. Joy Stewart.

I teach grade 3 at Wheatland Crossing School. My career has been spent in Golden Hills School Division. The majority of my career was spent at Central Bow Valley school, until we became Wheatland Crossing School. I have taught from Kindergarten to grade 9. I grew up in Calgary and attended the University of Calgary, graduating with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Education.

I live in Strathmore with my family. I love spending time with my family and camping. I usually have some sort of needlework on the go.

I believe developing a relationship with each student and their family is important. The focus in my classroom is a well rounded education with an emphasis on kindness and gratitude. I am very thankful to have this opportunity to get to know you and your family.
