Paeton Melcher

Hi, I’m Paeton Melcher, and I’m thrilled to be back at Wheatland Crossing, the school I graduated from in 2018, after growing up in Rockyford. 

This year, I am teaching Grade 7 Humanities, Art, and Health, and I also have the opportunity to teach high school option classes such as Foods, Photography, and Leadership. I graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge in 2022 before I went on to receive my Education degree from the University of Calgary. I am passionate about reading, writing, and creating, and I strive to inspire lifelong learners who are excited about what they create and also look forward to coming to school every day.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with the little ones in my life, swimming, reading, baking, and exploring creative projects.  I am a dedicated sports fan, regularly attending Calgary Flames games and always watching football highlights in the background (Go Ravens!). 

I am excited for a great year and to be actively involved in the community that helped raise me!
