Dear Parents of Wheatland Crossing,
This year, our educational community has grown and welcomed some exciting changes! As we grow and learn together, it is important that our students see us demonstrate the difference we can make within our community and those surrounding us.
Each year, we collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit those families struggling in our area. As we all know, this year has been exceptionally difficult for some. Together we can make a difference for those families trying to keep these basic needs met.
We invite you and your children to participate in our Foodbank Challenge!
Please send non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and detergents to the school during the week of December 12 – 16, 2016. Our students have been given the challenge to fill Mr. Latta’s office with donations!
Please send these items to the school with your child and please feel free to purchase a $5 or $10 donation package that will be available outside of the Christmas concerts next week.
We look forward to a successful campaign and hope that the discussion about social responsibility can be shared at home as well as at school.
Thank you for your continued support!
